Assignment 4 Criteria

  1. Format will be for viewing on a computer monitor
  2. The Size for each example of value will be 957 x596
  3. Resolution - 72 ppi
  4. Complete exercises 1-5 on page 116-117.
    • ex.1 filename: asn04_(2initials)value_01.jpg, see figure 6.13. Cannot use a photograph, must be created.
    • ex.2 filename: asn04_(2initials)value_02.jpg Cannot use a photograph, must be created.
    • ex.3 filename: asn04_(2initials)value_03.jpg, see figure 6.14, may be the same figure or 3 different figures like the example. Focus on changing the light source on each figure. Cannot use a photograph, must be created.
    • ex.4 filename: asn04_(2initials)value_04.jpg "drawing" should be composition format (more than one photograph). Must use a min. of 3 photographs if using photos. (may use no more than 50% of any image in composition). Composition does not have to have photos, may use Photoshop effects tools and filters.
    • ex.5 filename: asn04_(2initials)value_05.jpg, see figure 6.12, creating a diptych may get the mood across more clearly
  5. Create a web gallery of 5 completed exercises and upload to student server.
  6. Save gallery folder as 2 initials value ex. gevalue (use your initials, not mine!)
  7. Completed assignments will be graded from Web Gallery only.
