9/2/09 We worked with Alice and created a 3D animation of an ice skater.
9/9/09 We talked about how consoles and games have changed since the 80's. Tasks are divided differently today for making a game. For lab, we animated a fan dancer in Alice; Project 1.
9/16/09 We learned how to design a level using the hammer editor.  We created two rooms.

9/30/09  We designed turrets by using a cone, applying the carve tool, and duplicated it.

10/14/09  We created buy-areas which are invisible, and active in the player's spawn area.  We also created catwalks and archways.  The archways were created with the arch brush. We also had to design a map for 8-10 players.
10/21/09 We learned about development textures and how to adjust textures on objects so they are aligned correctly. We also learned about prefab. That is useful creating an object that will be used multiple times on a map, like doors, tables, crates, or computers For lab, we worked on our individual maps in the hammer editor and can apply what we've learned so far.
