The teacher showed the class how to use Alice. Which consisted of giving
an ice skater character commands to perform moves in the program. Basically
character animation. The class learned how to make this page I am typing
on now. It was made using Photoshop. |

The teacher talked about Atari and all the game consoles/PCs comprising
the history of gaming. He split us into groups and we had a fun discussion
about the pros and cons of developing a game on a PC vs a console. I felt
I had learned a lot, listening to everyone's presentations. Then, we started
Alice up again and were following the teacher's instructions. He showed
us how to make a red cone and blue cone face the camera and put to the
right and left of the ice skater. We then received homework to make a Japanese
Fan Girl. |

I did the Japanese Fan Girl homework. It was shorter than I thought
it would be. It took about 10 minutes. It was cool how she twirled around.
I am uploading it to the serve so it will be ready for class on Wednesday.
