Unit 2: Community
The mission of Richland College is teaching, learning, community building. In this unit, we will emphasize teaching others in our community about things we have learned. Use storytelling to make your message interesting to your audience.
Five Exercises: text animation, sound effects, drawing with a Wacom Tablet, Video with Masking, storyboarding or planning documents. All exercises must be posted correctly to the web.
Assignment 1. Create a 20 - 25 second animated story , or part of a story sequence, that relates one of your interests from your academic list to the UN Millennium goals. You must include use of bitmap and vector images, rotoscoped animation, 5 sound effects or looping background music. You must output the animation as a Flash swf file and a video format. Both will be posted to the web. This is not a slideshow.
Assignment 2: Create a Unit II home page with links to each of the Unit II assignments.
Unit II is Due October 30.
