Specs: for 1a- Symmetrical balance - Due: February 9, 2009- Beginning of class
- 500 pxs wide X 350 pxs height
- Focus composition on symmetrical balance
- be creative in your problem solving
- Composition must be abstract
- Use marquee tools for creating shapes (rectangle, ellipse, row and column)
- Include addition, subtraction and inverse of shapes using the Options Bar
- Use the paint tool at least once
- including gradient
- bucket fill
- stroke
- and brush tools
- save and name file as asg1_sym_your initials.psd
- save on jump drive

- Use lasso to make organic shapes
- Use Polygon lasso to make straight edged selections
- Use feathering of selection (must be obvious)
- Do not use Marquee tools in this design
- Use the Free transform/transform to rotate, flip, and/or scale lasso shapes
- Use paint tools, include:
- gradient
- bucket fill
- stroke
- and brush tools
