Project 3 - TEAM -BUILDING - Flash Animated Story

PROJECT 3 - In class project

In this assignment you will create a "how to" slide show w/animation

You will have a designated partner to work with, each student must submit their own animated project.
One paired team, TWO projects. You will work together to problem- solve, check each others work and encourage each other to succeed.

  1. Paired team will create one story board to prepare for animation
  2. Storyboard will display animated sequences, characters, text and sound.
  3. A longshot, mid-shot and close-up scene must be included in storyboard and animated sequence
  4. Storyboard must be approved by instructor in order to continue with project.
  5. Each student will create a folder - prj3 (inside your web folder)
  6. filename: 2initials_prj3.fla
  7. Change the canvas color to other than the default white
  8. Stage size 500 px X 450 px
  9. Include a text introduction and title
    1. Use min. first 20 frames for intro
    2. Include your name
    3. Include title of the "how to" slide show
    4. Use motion tween to animate title of slide show
  10. Add 7-10 frame labels to the timeline for the slide show
    1. frame labels dependent on story board animated sequences
  11. 10 frames min. duration of each frame label - animated sequence
  12. Use min. one image per animated sequence
  13. Use text on each animated sequence
  14. Use shape or motion tween of images on each animated sequence
  15. Use buttons to navigate between animated sequence
  16. Buttons will be position on a button background at the bottom of the stage
  17. Add sound files that enhances topic, min. 1
  18. Final sequence will have fairuse statement and credits for images, music, and story.

  20. Publish your final animation
  21. FTP .html and .swf : 2initials_prj3.html and 2initials_prj3.swf
