  • Read Chapter 4 – Visual Elements and Graphics pgs. 121-  148 
  • Complete Hands-on Practices: 4.1 - 4.5
  • FTP all exercises to your student server space – INSIDE practice folder
  • Add a link to your index.html for each new exercise: 4.3-4.5 update one index.html, add link to only 4.5

    • 4.4  add buttons to index.html inside the trillium folder
    • 4.5  add bullets and background images to index.html
  • Update your homepage external .css
    • Add a wallpaper to body
    • Add a bottom border to all heading tags
  1. Case Study - Create a new folder for the third version of your case study. If your original case study folder was:
    • javajam create a new folder called:javajam_v3
    • painter create a new folder called:painter_v3
    • fishcreek create a new folder called:fishcreek_v3
    • prime create a new folder called:prime_v3
  2. Copy and paste all your files from version 2 into the new folder. You will be changing the copy of your files in the new folder with visual elements, your original case study files, in the original case study folder should NOT be changed in any way .
  3. Your new version of the case study begins on pg 154 for javajam, pg 158 for fishcreek, pg 160 for painter and pg 163 for prime, please follow directions carefully. You will be adding images to casestudy_v3
  4. Save and ftp updated version of your case study and add a new link to your homepage as casestudy_v3 , below casestudy_v2 link.
  5. REMEMBER: don't do anything to casestudy_v2. Change only the files in the new folder_v3
