File Structure for assignments

Back to student server page
  1. Create a folder named webclass on your jump drive or dropbox (desktop or external drive also options, but be consistent)
  2. Do not use mixed cases in your folder or file names.
  3. Only make one version of this folder.
  4. Save your homepage (index.html) inside the folder named webclass.
  5. The webclass folder will be your root folder and will mirror your student server space.
  6. Inside your webclass folder create a folder named pages.
  7. Only make one version of this folder.
  8. All homework assignments will be saved INSIDE the pages folder.
  9. Create a folder named your case study. (Case study to be given to you after completing assignment 1)
  10. Only make one version of this folder.
  11. You should have only 2 folders inside your webclass folder:
    1. pages
    2. casestudy (ex. javajam)
  12. You should only have one file that is not in a folder insider your webclass folder.
    1. index.html
  13. Your student server space should ALWAYS look exactly like your webclass folder.
