Midterm Projects

Project 1
Create a web site for a pet photography service named Central Valley Pet Photography.– do not limit your choice just to dogs and cats, include other animals.
index.html
Include a description of the service and contact information. Add a logo. Additional info may include why clients have pictures of their pets made, the benefits of this service, etc.

contact.html: Create the contact information using appropriate phrase elements. Use an acronym in the address of CVPP for the Company name.

samples.html: Create a samples page of the type of pets photographed. Search the web for appropriate images to include in your page.

pricing.html: Create a pricing page for both in-house, house calls and out-of-town trips. Your numbers can be "fictitious" and not reflect the actual cost unless you want to do some research and find out the cost of photographing your pet(s).

client.html: This page is where you can put your imagination to work. Who have been some of your major clients? Search the web and see if you can find some movie stars or other famous people with their pets and include a picture of them plus a statement about their pets. Again DOCUMENT your sources by using a citation format and copyright symbol.

Project 2
Favorite Actors: Create a web site that contains photos and biographical information of four of your favorite actors.
index.html: Place thumbnail images of each actor along with his or her name on the index page. Additional info may include why you like these actors, do these actors have a positive or negative impact on the audience, etc?

(4) Each actor's page should display a larger version of the same photo along with biographical information including film and television.
(filenames are samples you can use any file name, but keep it to eight characters, no spaces)

Project 3
Rocks and Minerals site: Create a web site that sells natural rocks, gems, minerals and crystals.
index.html: Include thumbnail images of such categories like amethyst, geodes, quartz and fossils. Search the web for images. Additional info may include why the study of minerals and rocks are so interesting to you, how rocks and minerals are found or mined, etc.

Create a separate page for each category (see above) or a category for a rock, mineral, etc. that you prefer. Include a larger picture, name of the item, along with the price, weight, size and a description of the item.

Project 4
Sports Team/Race Car Team/Motor Cross Team. Search the web for your favorite sport team, auto racing, motor cross events, etc. Additional information may include why you like this sport, why it is such a favorite one to so many fans, etc.
index.html:Include thumbnail images of the individual(s) that make up the team. Include what this sport is about or why this sport is so interesting, etc.

(4)Create a separate page for each team member mentioned on the index page. For instance, with photos of baseball team members, on each page display the player's batting average, number of errors, etc. You can make up any statistical information you desire.
