File Structure for assignments

Back to student server page
  1. Create a folder named imed1316 or imed1416(depends on which class you are in)on your jump drive
  2. Do not use mixed cases or spaces in your folder or file names.
  3. Only make one version of this folder.
  4. Save your homepage (index.html) inside the folder named imed1316.
  5. The imed1316 folder will be your root folder and will mirror your student server space.
  6. Inside your imed1316 folder create a folder named practice.
  7. Only make one version of the practice folder.
  8. All homework assignments will be saved INSIDE the practice folder.
  9. Create a folder named your case study. (Case study to be given to you week 3)
  10. You will make a case study folder for each version change during the semester.
  11. You should have only 2 folders inside your imed1316 folder:
    1. practice
    2. casestudy (ex. javajam)
  12. You should only have one file that is not in a folder insider your imed1316 folder.
    1. index.html
  13. Your student server space should ALWAYS look exactly like your imed1316 folder setup.
