  • Almost all media is protected by copyrights which as the name states “Copy right” the right to produce copies this varies from books to music to movies or any type of media. When an individual makes a copy without the consent of the original owner the copyright law is being broken, of course there are some exceptions to this law. Non-profit organizations use fair-use of multimedia which states that educators can use limited amounts of a certain product and it can’t interfere with the originals author’s profits.

  • What guidelines should students follow when conducting Internet research?
  • Students should fallow certain guidelines when conducting Internet research. One of those guidelines is that a student or anyone can not copy or be credited for the works of other. As a student in 11th grade I am required to do research papers and one of the rules is that if you’re going to use a quote from an internet website you most credit the author for their work you can do this citing your sources.
