Course description:
Introduction to Web page design and related graphic design issues, including:
- Mark-up languages (HTML/XHTML and CSS);
- Designing, building, and promoting web sites;
- Internet access software;
- Accessibility and usability;
- Other interactive topics.
This course concentrates on manual coding of Web pages but also
includes some instruction in the use of WYSIWYG
editors such as DreamWeaver, and of image-editing
software such as GIMP and PhotoShop.
