In
a career that spans over 50 years, Cliff Robertson has appeared in
over 50 films. One of his most memorable performaces came from portraying
the title role in Charly, based on the short story 'Flowers
for Algernon'. It was this role that Robertson won the Academy Award
for Best Actor and was also honored by the National Film Review Board
for Best Lead Actor. Other film highlights for Robertson include Escape
from L.A., Renaissance Man, Picnic, Devil's
Brigade, The Pilot, Obsession, and Three
Days of the Condor.
