Who is Natalie Lyon???

Natalie Lyons is a senior here at RCHS. Before she came to RCHS, she attended Pearce HS in Richardson. Ms. Lyons has played the viola in the Orchestra since the sixth grade. When she attended junior high (7th - 9th), she was in advanced orchestra, the top orchestra group. When she attended Pearce High School, she was in philharmonic, the middle orchestra group. Now, Natalie is a senior at RCHS playing in the String Ensemble, an orchestra located on the Richland College Campus. I asked Natalie how she like it. She responded, "It was hard at first because it was a small group, about a third of the size of a high school orchestra, it was little hard to adjust to, but it pushed me to try harder." Natalie also plays for her church, Spring Valley Methodist Orchestra.

Natalie would like to continue playing her viola, it is a decision she is still contemplating on. After she graduates from RCHS, she is planning on attending Duquesne University in Pennsylvania to study forensics science.
